The New York State Police announce the arrest of 35-year-old Paul J. Savas of 7826 Karakul Lane, Fayetteville.
On July 6, 2017, Savas was charged with (3) counts of Promoting Child Pornography, a class “D” felony, (3) counts of Possessing Child Pornography, a class “E” felony, Criminal Possession of a Firearm – Unregistered Assault Weapon, a class “E” felony, and (5) counts of Unlawful Possession of Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device, a class “A” Misdemeanor.
The arrest stems from a search warrant that was executed July 5 by the New York State Police and the United States Marshal Services regarding images of child pornography being uploaded to the internet.
Savas was arraigned in the Village of Fayetteville court and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $15,000 cash or $30,000 bail bond.
