The Mohawk Valley Rotary Club welcomed two new members, Michele Hummel Denise Snyder. Snyder is the Branch Manager at NBT Bank, Herkimer. Hummel is the Office Manager at the Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce.
Club President Cindy Bennett welcomed the new members and presented both with their new member packets.
“Our newest members will be invaluable in identifying projects in the community that we can help assist with, our biggest mission is to help in our communities,” said Bennett.
Mohawk Valley Rotary is a service organization of civic and business leaders based in the Mohawk Valley. We meet weekly at noon on Tuesday’s at Pk’s Pub, Herkimer, and welcome guests and prospective members anytime.
Our projects improve the local and international communities, this past year included a high school scholarship opportunity for a student at Central Valley Academy, funding for Herkimer Counties Dolly Parton Imagination Library program, the formation of a youth Rotary Interact Club and much more.
