Inspirational hearing-impaired singer and national recording artist Sherry Anne will sing at the 40th anniversary celebration of Old Home Day in the Park on Route 26 in Vernon Center onSaturday, August 5 at 4 pm. The Old Home Day event is free admission from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm with a9:30 am parade, crafts, food, BBQ, games for the kids, antique tractors and classic cars, and entertainment all day rain or shine.

Sherry Anne, born with a bilateral hearing and speech impairment, sings with an elegant voice that perfectly blends a passion for Southern Gospel-style, country, and blues music with her deep faith. She has shared a message of hope at women’s conferences nationally, has recorded a public service announcement for the International Christian Centers for the Deaf in northern Mexico, and was invited to sing at the Gaither Vocal Band concert in Buffalo on July 14.

Bring a lawn chair to enjoy the concerts that begin at 10 am with Fritz’s Polka Band and continue throughout the day with Double Chase, the Nelson Brothers Band, and Sherry Anne.
