OPL Summer Reading Program
Monday at 10:00 a.m.
Children from kindergarten to fifth grade will participate in a “pay it forward” project to help “build a better world,” the 2017 state-wide summer reading program theme. This week children will decide as a group to do one act of kindness that can benefit the community.

The Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre’s “Huff and Puff”
Monday at 11:00 p.m.
The professional acting troupe of the Merry-Go-Round Youth Theater will perform free of charge its brand new comic adaptation of the “The Three Little Pigs” story, entitled “Huff and Puff: A Pig Tale.” The performance is made possible by a gift from the Friends of the Oneida Public Library.

Lego Robotics Workshop
Monday, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 pm
In partnership with the U.S. Air Force Laboratory in Rome, the OPL offers middle-school students an intensive week of designing and building robots to do tasks that could improve society and the quality of life, under the supervision of Ralph Kohler, Jr., and Tandy Paugh. The workshop, which requires pre-registration, runs Monday through Friday, August 7-11.
