Join us as we explore Solar Eclipses. Learn about what they are, why they occur, and how to safely view them. We will make our own Solar Eclipse viewers out of cereal boxes and participants will get to take home a pair of Solar Eclipse viewing glasses. Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library.

Monday, Aug. 21, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. – “Solar Eclipse Viewing Party” — All ages welcome
We’ll be hosting a party to track the Solar Eclipse, make eclipse crafts, play with galaxy dough, and celebrate the “All American Eclipse.” Weather permitting, we hope to be outside on the green behind the village office. If it is raining, come inside the library to watch NASA’s live feed and to join in the activities! Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
