We are showing the movie, Everything, Everything this Friday September 8 at 7:00pm. If you have time read the book first by Nicola Yoon and come see if the book is better than the movie. If not, just come see this great film! We provide the popcorn; just bring your own beverage. The library closes at 8pm, so if you have library business to attend to, please come early! NOTE: This movie is PG-13 so we will NOT let anyone under the age of 13 view the movie without a parent/guardian.

On Wednesday September 13 we will be at the Farmer’s Market in Peterboro from 3:00pm-7:00pm. The Morrisville Public Library is sponsoring the Farmer’s Market seeing it is “Roald Dahl Day”! Stop into our booth with the kids to hear some stories and make their own candy bar! Adults-there are things for you too! Check out a book, renew something or get a library card with our pop up library! View all of our programs on display as well! Contests for both kids and adults and free chocolate too! Lots of other things going on that evening to so be sure to stop in and see us!

We are hosting a blood drive at the library on Friday September 15 from 1pm-6pm! Sign-ups begin now, walk ins are welcome too! Help the community by giving blood today!

On Wednesday September 20 we will be having a book talk on the book, Before the Fall by Noah Hawley at 6:30pm. Copies can be picked up now at the circulation desk! Discussion open to teens and adults! So grab a book, read it and come join us for a sure to be fun discussion!

Be sure to join us on Friday September 22 for our first historic talk of the fall, Woman Suffrage in Madison County at 6:30pm. Madison County Historian Matthew Urtz will explain the roles local civic groups played supporting and fighting against Woman Suffrage and the impact these organizations had on statewide efforts to gain or stop woman suffrage. 2017 is the 100th anniversary of women receiving the right to vote in New York state.

Don’t forget we host “Play Mahjong!’ every Monday from 1pm-3pm! Like to play Mahjong? Want to learn how to play without using the computer?  Willing to teach young and old!  Come join the fun!

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and
Saturdays 10am-4pm.
