Congressman Anthony Brindisi
Bill would cut New York federal health care funding by $71 billion by 2027
Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi, Democratic candidate for New York’s 22nd Congressional district, issued the following statement in response to Congresswoman Claudia Tenney’s silence on the Graham-Cassidy Senate healthcare bill:

“I strongly urge Congresswoman Tenney to take a stance against the Senate’s Graham-Cassidy healthcare bill. Under Graham-Cassidy, New York will lose about $71 billion in federal healthcare funding by 2027. It would remove protections for pre-existing conditions and increase premiums for Upstate families. Congresswoman Tenney should join me in opposing this harmful bill.”
