On Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, State Police Investigators with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations in LaFayette charged Gavin S. Maloney, 16, of Preble, with first-degree rape, a class B felony.
According to police, Maloney stands accused of forcibly raping a victim less than 16 years of age. The incident occurred Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017, after school hours on the Tully Junior-Senior High School campus.
Maloney was arraigned in Tully Town Court and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 secure bond.
