The New York School Public Relations Association recognized Madison-Oneida BOCES with two awards in its 38th Annual Communications Awards, a statewide contest to honor schools and BOCES for outstanding print, visual and digital communications work.

  • An award of excellence in the Social Media category for a series of tweets about Construction Careers Day, a three-BOCES industry-focused event hosted at MOBOCES in the spring.
  • An award of honor in the Excellence in Writing category for “Students Learn to Solve Rubik’s Cube,” an article on a MOBOCES teacher’s Rubik’s Cube challenge to his students.
