Radical abolitionist Beriah Green will be honored at the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum (Oct. 21, 2017.

During the 7 p.m. Saturday Commemoration Ceremonies of Abolition Weekend Oct. 21 and 22 in Peterboro, Dr. Milton Sernett will briefly describe the legacy of Beriah Green of Whitesboro as an inductee to the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum. Relatives,

Relatives, friends and associates who are sponsors of Green’s inductee banner for the Hall will introduce themselves and their relationship to Green. The sponsors will unveil the banner to be installed in the Hall. The Green banner will include Green’s official NAHOF portrait created by artist Melissa
