The Great Swamp Conservancy will host its annual Spooktacular Non-Scary Halloween Fun Days Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28 and 29, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Great Swamp Conservancy, Inc., at 8375 N. Main Street.

Children and families are invited to enjoy two days of non-scary fun and adventure. Each day the Good Witch will greet you with treats (not tricks). She will then guide you to the wetland area, Old McDonald’s farm, bat caves, a frog pond, Halloween story time and other seasonal features.

Games, food, gator rides (weather permitting), make-n-take crafts, family and individual photos taken by a Swamp Snappers Camera Club member and a coloring contest make this one of the season’s best family-friendly events.

Pick up your coloring contest entry at the Canastota Public Library or Sullivan Free Library in Chittenango or visit the GSC website. Winners will be announced Monday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m.

Come dressed in a Halloween costume and receive a small prize. Have your face painted, play a game and climb through the secret passage to find the bat cave. Creative GSC members and volunteers have turned the barn/museum into a delightful Halloween wonderland. For more information, call 315-697-2950 or email greatswampconservancy@gmail.com.
