State Police in Remsen arrested 33-year-old, Nicholas D. Martin of Westernville for Aggravated DWI.
On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, Troopers responded to a property damage accident on Buck Hill Road in the Town of Steuben. The investigation revealed Martin had lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. He was not injured in the crash. During the investigation Troopers detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Mr. Martin.
Martin was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with a reportable BAC of .26%. He was issued an appearance ticket for Aggravated DWI and was arraigned at the Oneida County Jail where he was remanded in lieu of bail.
