The Hamilton Public Library is teaming up with the Mid York Interfaith Holiday Project again this year! The Interfaith Holiday Project helps to provide children’s gifts and food throughout the Hamilton and Madison communities. The Library provides support as a collection site for donations for the project. We hope you’ll consider donating new hats, scarves, mittens, etc… for any age group, or wrapping paper and supplies to help families share the joy of surprise. Please bring your donations to the collection station across from the Library circulation desk no later than Friday, December 15th so we can help provide them to the Interfaith Holiday Project in time.

Looking for a little down time and change of scenery for yourself or visitors from out of town? Come enjoy our winter village display! Browse and borrow a book from one of our themed displays featuring Hanukkah, Christmas, cooking and crafts. Explore our newly renovated fireplace room and settle into the new chairs to relax with a magazine or newspaper.  Feast your eyes on the vibrant paintings by local artist Thomas Schmitt, currently featured in our gallery space.  Shop at our book sale table, make a donation from our “wish tree” for a gift to the Library, or purchase from our new selection notecard. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is waiting to greet you and help you use our many services and resources!

Additional information about Library resources, programs and policies, as well as access to our online services, is available through the Library website http://midyorklib.org/hamilton/.  From the website, you can also sign up for our listserv and Wowbrary notices to receive emails about general Library news and newly added materials in our collections!  Follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information about programs, special events, and other general Library-related information:  http://www.facebook.com/HPL.books.

The Library is normally open Monday-Friday, 10am to 7pm, and Saturday, 10am to 1pm. Please visit or call the Library (315) 824-3060 during these hours for assistance. The book drop at the front of the building is always available for your convenience.
