The Madison County Youth Bureau is now accepting funding proposals from community-based non-profit organizations, public agencies and Madison County municipalities to provide services to the youth of Madison County during 2018 utilizing New York State Office of Children and Family Services Youth Development Program funds.

Eligible programs must provide community-level services designed to promote positive youth development and respond to locally identified youth needs in Madison County.  The RFP Guidelines and Budget Page can be viewed on the Madison County website under the Youth Bureau’s webpage by clicking on the tab 2018 Request for Proposals at https://www.madisoncounty.ny.gov/150/Youth-Bureau.

These funds are available on a competitive basis and must be used for the delivery of services between January 1st and December 31st, 2018. Eligible programs must be outcome based and provide quantifiable and verifiable indicators by which program performance will be measured. All programs seeking funding must track at least one of the OCFS outcome measures for each service, opportunity and support that your program is addressing. This is in addition to any other outcome measures that programs may be tracking to reflect what youth will gain from participating in the program.

Proposals for this funding must be submitted to the Madison County Youth Bureau by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 to be considered for funding.  No proposals received after this date will be considered.

Any agency interested in scheduling an information and technical assistance session can contact the Madison County Youth Bureau Director, Tina Louis, at (315) 366-2574 or by e-mail at  tina.louis@madisoncounty.ny.gov.
