On Dec. 13, 2017, at approximately 4:11 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87, in the Town of New Baltimore for a vehicle and traffic violation. During the interviewing of the driver Victor Munford, age 49, of Utica, for the traffic violation probable cause to search the vehicle was established. During the subsequent search of the vehicle, approximately 20 grams of crack cocaine was located. The driver was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany, where he was subsequently charged with:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree; a Class B Felony (with intent to sell)
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree; a Class B Felony (narcotic drug)
- Vehicle and Traffic Violations
Munford is currently awaiting arraignment in the Town of New Baltimore Court. No bail information or return court date available at this time.
