Central New York pair arrested for possessing a stolen car

On Jan 22, 2018, at approximately 1:34 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-90 in the town of Henrietta after a ‘be on the lookout’ for a stolen vehicle was reported. After the traffic stop, the trooper’s investigation determined the two male subjects provided false identification to police and the vehicle was reported stolen to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.

During further investigation at the scene, multiple stolen tools were recovered. Driver Mark A. Russitano, 32, of Utica, and his passenger, Nathan P. Fuller, 28, of Richfield Springs, were taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Henrietta, where they were subsequently charged with:

  • Third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class D felony (Russitano only)
  • Third-degree authorized use of a motor vehicle, a class A misdemeanor (Russitano only)
  • Fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class A misdemeanor (Russitano and Fuller)
  • Second-degree criminal impersonation, a class A misdemeanor (Russitano and Fuller)
  • Third-degree aggravated unlicensed use of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor (Russitano only)

Russitano and Fuller were arraigned in Henrietta Town Court. Russitano was remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu $5,000 cash ail or $15,000 bail bond. A return court date of Jan. 26, 2018 at 1 p.m. was set. Fuller was also remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $3,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond. A return court date of Feb. 1, 2018, at 5 p.m. was set.

The pair have a total of seven outstanding warrants between them.
