The Canastota Canal Town Museum with the Canastota Public Library will offer another free-to-the-public Canalside Talk at 7 p.m. April 17, 2019, at the library.

The Interfaith Works of Syracuse will talk about their programs and services. This timely discussion about immigration will delve into the successful stories of several local immigrants. Interfaith Works was formed to build bridges of understanding among people of different religions and across racial divides.

One of the Interfaith Works programs, The Center for New Americans, provides services to help refugee families in the Syracuse area reestablish their lives and overcome barriers to being successful in their new communities.
