  • Family Super Saturday: Tim Collins performs “Speaking Up, Speaking Out” Saturday at 11 a.m. Actor and playwright Tim Collins returns to the OPL with “Speaking Up, Speaking Out,” a play in which friendship, bullying, cyberbullying and difficulty in expressing true emotions come alive in a riveting one-man performance.

Monday’s class will divide students among Hogwarts’ houses, using a “Sorting Hat.” Then students will devise house regalia and compete in a Transfiguration Class game of charades. Registration at the OPL is required.

  • OPL’s Hogwarts Academy: Thursday, 2 to 4 p.m. Students on spring break, 8 to 13 years old, can relive J. K. Rowlings’ novels about Harry Potter this week in four daily classes on magical topics. In Thursday’s class, students will embark on a scavenger hunt for the Deathly Hallows, act out favorite scenes from the books and conclude the course with the House Cup Ceremony and celebration.   • Family Movie Night: “Mary Poppins Returns” Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
  • Disney recreates the magical nanny in “Mary Poppins Returns,” starring Emily Blunt and Lin to Manuel Miranda. The 2018 release has Mary Poppins returning to the Banks family 25 years later to restore love and order.
  • Black Opus Strings: Wednesday at 7 p.m. Black Opus, the Central New York string ensemble with brio, returns to the OPL as a trio composed of Allyson Sklar on viola, Kristen Kopf on cello and Liz Fiddle (Elizabeth Simchik) on violin. They will perform pop, classical and jazz selections. The concert is free.
