Office for the Aging participates in March for Meals

Madison County Office for the Aging’s Senior Nutrition Program participated in March for Meals to commemorate March 22, 1972, when the national nutrition program for adults 60 and older was established.

NYS Office for the Aging Acting Director Greg Olsen and Corey Mosher, representing Senator Rachel May, helped prepare meals in Office for the Aging’s kitchen, then traveled along on a home-delivered meal route and met with meal recipients at a lunch site in Canastota.

Madison County Office for the Aging delivers 10,500 hot lunches to groups at meal sites and to homes each month. For more information, call 315.697.5700.
