From 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019, the Gorman Foundation, Catholic Charities and ARISE will host an open house to showcase their new offices at the Northside Shopping Center in Oneida.

The Gorman Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life for present and future generations, serving as a living legacy of Owen T. Gorman, Catherine “Kay” Cummings Gorman and Alice M. Gorman. The Gorman Foundation focuses on helping people gain access to healthcare, education, food and shelter; community education and enhancement; and the environment especially supporting local farming, preservation of wildlife or rehabilitation of animals.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Syracuse in Oneida/Madison County offers hope, encouragement, optimism and strength for the future through an array of services from counseling, summer camps and youth programming to provide assistance to those in need.

ARISE is an independent living organization that is run by and for people of all disabilities. ARISE offers services for advocacy and accessibility; basic needs and assistance; education, employment, skill-building; health and wellness and recreation and art.

Tour the newly renovated Northside Shopping Center and enjoy conversation and refreshments with staff at the three organizations to learn more about their services.

This event is free and open to the public.
