WHAT: Free fitness classes – Turbo Kick and TRX – at the Move More Celebration sponsored by the Boilermaker
WHEN: Sunday, June 23, 2019; Registration begins at 10 a.m. Classes run from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (second hour dependent on registration totals)
WHERE: Carbone Athletics at the Fitness Mill, 587 Main St., New York Mills
WHY: Any activity – even small, short bouts – will provide a health benefit. The American Heart Association is encouraging everyone to Move More with free Turbo Kick and TRX fitness classes. Participants can sign up for one hour of activity with two 30-minute classes at Carbone Athletics at the Fitness Mill.
For adults, the American Heart Association recommends at least 150 minutes per week of moderate activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity or a combination of those activities.
