State police respond to several suspicious person complaints in the town of Salina

Troopers from Lysander and North Syracuse responded to several suspicious-person complaints in the town of Salina June 25, 2019.

Investigation determined that a representative from Southwestern Advantage is traveling door-to-door selling educational materials for school-aged children.

During the individual’s sales pitch, he has stated that he is visiting with families residing within the Liverpool School District. The individual is not representing himself as an employee of the school district.

The individual is in possession of a valid town of Salina solicitation permit and does not pose any threat to the public.
