The fifth and final installment of our 2019 concert series takes place Aug. 15 on Hamilton’s Village Green. In addition to performances, each night includes family-friendly events arranged by the Hamilton Public Library as part of their 2019 Summer Reading Program. The rain location for the series is Hamilton’s Palace Theater at 19 Utica St.

The Aug. 15 show features West End Blend. Since their conception, this eight-piece funk/soul band has been playing their version of the genres in venues all over the northeast. Fronted by vocalist Erica Bryan, the band pays homage to classic throwback sounds while adding their own distinct vibe and flair.

For the family activity before the music, join us for Princess Night. Enjoy storytime with Snow Queen and Snow Sister along with crafts, games and activities, all starting at 5:30 p.m.

The evening’s concert and activities are free for all to enjoy. Folks are encouraged to dine on the Village Green or enjoy the music from the patio of the Colgate Inn. Blankets, chairs and dancing are encouraged.

The series will also give locals and visitors alike a chance to enjoy downtown Hamilton’s eateries and boutiques. From home goods and fashion to antiques and gifts, there’s something for everyone to explore and enjoy just a stone’s throw away from the Village Green.

Thursdays on the Village Green is made possible with the generous support of numerous sponsors.

Activities for events begin at 5:30 or 6 p.m.; music runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. For more information, visit facebook.com/thursdaysonthevillagegreen.
