The Chenango Bird Club presents “Birds and Beasts of Chenango County” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Rogers Environmental Education Center’s Visitor Center. Presenter Mike DeWispelaere is a member of the Chenango Bird Club and an avid photographer. His quest this year is to record 200 bird species in Chenango County, and he’s close to achieving it – it will be interesting to see how close and hear about his adventures in reaching the goal.

Refreshments will be served following DeWispelaere’s presentation. Prior to the show, the Chenango Bird Club will have a short business meeting.

Everyone is welcome to attend all or part of the evening’s activities.

The Chenango Bird Club presents monthly programs (except January, February and March). Nature enthusiasts of all levels and interests are invited to all Chenango Bird Club programs, free of charge, at the Rogers Environmental Education Center.

Rogers Center is located one mile west of Sherburne Village on State Highway 80. Use the driveway just west of the main parking lot exit. Pass the parked pickup trucks and continue past the pond to reach the Visitor Center.

Call Club President Charlene LaFever at 607.334.9112 for more information on Chenango Bird Club activities.
