Brennan J. Iseneker, 30, of Sauquoit, was charged with second-degree murder, a class A felony and two counts of second-degree assault, a class D felony.

Iseneker was arraigned in Oneida County centralized arraignment court and remanded to the Oneida County Jail without bail.


On Sept. 7, 2019, at 4:01 a.m., state police and deputies from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office responded to 208 Summit St., Boonville, for a physical domestic involving three stabbing victims.

When Troopers arrived, they located a male, later identified as Cy M. Platt, 31, of Boonville, lying on the back porch with multiple stab wounds to his head and neck area; he was airlifted to SUNY Upstate Medical University where he was pronounced dead.

Troopers and deputies then located two other stabbing victims, 31-year-old male who was stabbed in the arm and a 62-year-old male who suffered stab wounds to his neck. Both victims were transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Utica where they were treated and released.

Brennan J. Iseneker, 30, of Sauquoit, was located inside the residence and was taken into custody.

The investigation continues.

State police were assisted at the scene by Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Boonville Fire Department and Boonville Ambulance.
