Fred is an owl enthusiast and will have taxidermic mounts of most of our native owls to display.

Collected Stories 2019

The Chenango Bird Club presents “Collected Stories 2019” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13. The program will feature some of the encounters Rick Bunting has had with birds and other wildlife throughout this year and the photos taken to document those encounters.  Most of the stories are about local subjects, but some Florida observations are included, as well. Rick is a longtime member of the Chenango Bird Club and has been an avid nature photographer for many years. His photos are breathtaking and the accompanying stories are fascinating.

The Chenango Bird Club will also be judging the entries in our biannual photography contest. Everyone present is welcome to vote on the winners.

Refreshments will be served following these presentations. Prior to the presentations, the Chenango Bird Club will have a short business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend all or part of the evenings’ activities.

The Chenango Bird Club presents monthly programs (except January, February and March). Nature enthusiasts of all levels and interests are invited to all Chenango Bird Club programs, free of charge, at the Rogers Environmental Education Center. Rogers Center is located one mile west of Sherburne Village on State Highway 80. Use the driveway just west of the main parking lot exit. Pass the parked pickup trucks and curve to the right past the pond to reach the Visitor Center.

For more information on these or other CBC activities or programs, call Club President Charlene LaFever at 607.334.9112.
