Oneida Public Library welcomes native son Christopher Dean of Cable Conversion at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, to present the case for cutting the cord from cable television and hooking up with streaming video services to save money and improve viewing options.

Dean, owner of Cable Conversion, will lay out the benefits of giving up cable TV service but also point out common pitfalls in converting to alternate services. In a show-and-tell, he will highlight various popular streaming video services and how to navigate through them while pointing out the many free apps that can be accessed via the Internet.

Dean will leave time at the end of his presentation for individual questions.

The program is free and open to the public. For more information, stop by the Oneida Library at 220 Broad St., or call 315.363.3050.
