Madison County Historian Matthew Urtz will conduct a special veteran’s interview of Vietnam veteran Doug Ginney at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2019, at the Canastota Public Library, 102 W. Center St., Canastota.
Ginney, a native of Canastota, served as an aerial and ground reconnaissance officer. During his service, he was awarded two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star.
Ginney will talk about his experiences in Vietnam, as well as his work with the Madison County War Veterans Memorial in Wampsville.
