The Madison County Healthy Start Partnership, the local breastfeeding partnership, announced two of the Breastfeeding Connections baby weigh stations have reopened by appointment this week.

The Oneida Breastfeeding Connections baby weigh station is open by appointment only at Oneida Health, 607 Seneca St., Oneida. The hours remain the same on Monday evenings starting at 4 p.m. and Friday starting at 1 p.m. Parents can schedule an appointment by calling Oneida Health at 315.361.2065.

St. Joseph’s Physicians Primary Care Cazenovia located at 132 ½ Albany St., Cazenovia, is also open Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. by appointment-only. Parents can schedule an appointment by calling St. Joseph’s Physicians Cazenovia at 315.655.8171.

When scheduling the appointment, staff will explain the screening and safety procedures in place to protect patients and staff. Precautions like waiting in your vehicle until staff are ready for you, taking your temperature, wearing a face covering and scheduling more time in between appointments to clean and disinfect surfaces.

The Hamilton Breastfeeding Connections baby weigh station, which is held at the Hamilton Public Library, is not yet open because the library is not open to the public at this time.
