Songs For Mother Earth

Benefit concert planned for Friends of Rogers EE Center

(Hamilton, NY – April 2011) The community is invited to a folk festival concert called Songs For Mother Earth, celebrating Earth and its wonders on Friday April 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Palace Theater, Utica Street in Hamilton.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for browsing green products and services. At 7:30 p.m. there will be live music, a stage performance of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.

Performers include Joe Mettler and Rabbit In The Rye, Reyna Stagnaro and Putter Cox, Bruce Ward, Chris Vecsey, Adger Williams, Clara Lantz and Susan Weitz, Jenni Larchar and Fred Von Mechow, Mason and Taylor McDowell, and Lauren Mettler, plus others.

Tickets will be available at the door for $5 per adult; kids under 12 are free.

Refreshments will also be sold during the event.

This second Earth Day Festival was conceived and organized by Hamiltonian Bruce Ward. This year Songs For Mother Earth benefits the Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center.
