Circa Restaurant’s Farmers at Saturday Market

(Cazenovia, NY – Jan. 2012) Purchase products directly from top area food producers at Circa, the renowned local foods restaurant in Cazenovia.

On Saturday, Jan. 7 from 9 a.m. to noon Alycyn Hart, Chef/owner of Circa invites you to meet and buy directly from the farmers who produce the ingredients she uses at the restaurant. Her family of farmers as they call themselves include:

Meadowood Farms: Sheep’s milk cheese, lamb, and beef

Ingallside Meadows Farm: chicken, eggs, pork, and beef

The Imaginary Farmer: Mushrooms

Lynnie Lynne’s Gluten Free Bakery: Gluten-free bread and other baked goods

Lucky Moon Farm: organic vegetables

Marian Barrows: vegetables

Dutch Girl Cheese: Artisan goat and sheep cheeses

Kriemhild Dairy Farms: butter

Simply Greek Sheep’s milk yogurt will be available for sale

Future Saturday Circa markets will be held Feb 4, March 3, and April 7.

The Farmers and bakers are all happy to talk about their work and answer questions. Add something special to your table this holiday season and support our local farmers who grow their animals and vegetables with our deep, nutrient-dense upstate soils.
