  1. Having been a participant in the Tuscarora Lake Ice Fishing Derbys, along with the rest of my family and friends I would like to say that I thought the 2011 Derby was much better organized and the location, the Fire House, much more enjoyable. The location this year was much more crowded, more rowdy and the evidence of more alcohol being consumed was not what I would call a family oriented atmosphere.

Hopefully, a different locale can be chosen for next year, so that we who enjoy a day on the ice with our families can enjoy it. Otherwise, I, for one, will not be a participant.
