(Morrisville, NY – March 2012) Join us for a pizza-tasting night this Friday March 9 at 6:30 p.m. Bring in your favorite pizza for a tasting contest. We will sample all and decided on who has the best tasting pizza in Morrisville.

On Saturday, March 10, at noon we will be showing the second greatest movie of all time, “Citizen Kane.” We provide the refreshments, so come out and enjoy the movie.

Join us Wednesday, March 14, at 6:30 p.m., as we have fun with butterflies. Spring is right around the corner, so help us get ready at this great program.

Join Lindsay Hoham as she shares with us her “not-so-extreme” coupon-saving tricks Friday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m. Figure out how to save money without spending a lot of time.

Join us for our annual ER Andrews Elementary School Art reception Saturday, March 17, from noon to 2 p.m. Come see our local young artists work and meet some of them, too.

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, will be hearing stories about Teddy Bears Tuesday, March 20, at 9:30 a.m. Bring your toddler or preschool child in for some great stories and fun.

Our next book talk will be Friday, March 23, at 12:15 p.m. The book being discussed is Jamie Ford’s “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet.” Bring your lunch and join in the discussion. Copies of the book can picked up now.

We are looking at how creative you can be with Peeps, the marshmallow candy. Choose a favorite book and use Peeps to make a diorama of the book. Be sure to label your display with the book title, author and your name and phone number. All entries must be received by Saturday, April 7, at 4 p.m. Then patrons can vote for their favorites the rest of the month; the top three will be announced Monday, April 30.

The next Library Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, March 15, at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Michelle Rounds is library manager for the Morrisville Public Library. The library is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
