(Madison County, NY – April 2012) The Madison County Department of Health is offering Zostavax, a vaccine that helps to prevent Shingles to anyone over the age of 60.

It is recommended that all adults, age 60 years and older, receive one dose of zoster vaccine, including persons who have already had an episode of shingles.

There clinic will be held at the Health Department in Wampsville Friday, April 6, from 12:45 to 3:30 p.m. For more information or to make an appointment, call (315) 366-2848.
