(Canastota, NY – April 2012) The Canastota Public Library is holding a special evening Computer Class on Wednesday, April 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the library’s Carnegie Room. In this class, Instructor Pat McLeod will review the basics of how to use a computer.
This hands-on class with guided instruction is designed for people who have little to no experience working with a computer. The class teaches basic skills beginning with using the mouse and keyboard and progresses to Internet use.
Interested participants must register for this program as there is limited space available. Please call the library at 697-7030 or stop in and register at our Circulation Desk on the main floor of the library.
For the past several months, the library has hosted basic computer classes to help the community become more computer literate. As we receive requests, we hope to continue to provide our patrons with those literacy skills that are necessary to succeed in today’s technological world.
