Third Annual Father’s Day ‘Fly-in’ Pancake Breakfast Planned

(Hamilton, NY – June 2012) The Hamilton Rotary Club and the Hamilton Business Alliance have teamed up to sponsor the third annual Father’s Day “Fly-in” Pancake Breakfast Sunday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The site of the festivities will be the Hamilton Airpark, 6610 Airport Road /Wings Way, Hamilton, and planes and other aircraft will definitely be part of the day.

The menu includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice and milk.

Activities include a hot air balloon walk for the kids, Heritage Farms animal zoo and antique car and fire truck display. Advance sale admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 11. Children under the age of 5 are free. Adult price at the door is $8. Proceeds from the event benefit Rotary’s worldwide polio eradication efforts, as well as local community organizations.

For an extra charge, folks can take to the skies over Hamilton and surrounding towns, valleys and lakes in either a Cessna 172 airplane or a Robinson R-44 helicopter. Plane rides are $20 per person for a 10- to 12-minute adventure or about $40 to $45 per person for the helicopter.

Tickets are available at the Hamilton Farmers Market, Parry’s Hardware, the Peppermill and other Hamilton Alliance locations, as well as from Rotary Club members.
