(Oneida, NY – July 2012) The Madison Cortland ARC announced recently the premises will be going tobacco-free July 1. ARC officials are proud of the new policy, reporting the agency has partnered with BRiDGES to Prevent Tobacco in Canastota to make sure the new rule is clearly posted.
BRiDGES to Prevent Tobacco has provided signs free of charge in order to assist the ARC. All Madison Cortland ARC locations will be tobacco-free to employees and guests.
“We are very pleased to be working with Bridges to Prevent Tobacco on our new policy,” said Madison Cortland ARC Executive Director Ray Lewandowski. “Bridges has terrific programs to help people kick the habit and maintain the wellness of those who provide care and support for people with disabilities.”
