(Morrisville, NY – July 2012) The Morrisville Lions Club will hold a pulled pork barbecue Saturday, July 28, at the Madison County 4-H Youth Fair in Morrisville. The barbeque will be open to the public and will begin at noon at the Ag Center, 100 Eaton St., Morrisville. The Youth Fair and barbecue are a stop on the Open Farm Day Passport, so plan your day to include lunch at the Fair.
“Pulled pork barbeque will be served on a Kaiser roll with coleslaw on the side,” said Lions Club President Mike Drahos. “Come early to be sure you don’t miss out on this excellent lunch. When it’s gone, it’s gone. Proceeds will benefit the work of our local Lions Club.”
The Morrisville Lions Club is a service club which has benefitted the local community for 53 years. Money raised will help support their projects including eye examinations for children, scholarships and awards for local students, the Christmas party for children, the senior citizen luncheon and providing entertainment at Crouse Community Center.
Open Farm Day will include many other interesting and fun venues. Get your passport at the Youth Fair and plan your day of fun.
