(Cazenovia, NY) On a sunny and warm May 6 afternoon, a handful of Cazenovia Preservation Foundation volunteers came out to the South Trail to help plant over 100 willow trees along the banks of Chittenango Creek.

Thanks to the generous donation by Trout Unlimited, CPF was able to replace some lost vegetation along the creek due to flooding and erosion.  The South Trail is enjoyed by many visitors so maintaining the integrity of the trail’s banks is the utmost priority.  So come on out and enjoy one of CPF’s hidden treasures in Cazenovia.
