(Town of Sullivan, NY – Aug.2012) The Sullivan Town Council will host a public input session Wednesday, Aug. 1, at 7:30 p.m., as part of its regular monthly meeting to allow members of the public an opportunity to express their concerns or support of natural gas exploration and extraction activities in the town.

Supervisor John M. Becker said those wishing to speak must be residents of the town of Sullivan, though any member of the public may attend the meeting in accordance with the state Open Meetings Law.

  1. You need to have these public meetings. generally speaking, folks aren’t typically too happy about the drilling.
