(Oneida – Aug.  2012) The Central New York Chapter of the American Red Cross celebrated the opening of its new Madison-Oneida branch office earlier this month with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 134 Vanderbilt Ave., Oneida.

The new office, which is operated daily by Red Cross staff and volunteers, is just a few blocks from the old office at 100 Washington Ave.

Pictured from left are Assemblyman William Magee (D – Nelson), Red Cross volunteer Carl Carlstead, of Vernon; longtime Madison-Oneida branch Executive Director Susan Tonra and American Red Cross Central New York Region Chief Executive Officer Rosie Taravella cut the ribbon in front of the office.
