(Hamilton, NY – Sept. 2012) The Earlville Awesome House co-presents a free Family Series Event with Grammy-winner, Bill Harley at the Great Chocolate Train Wreck Festival on Saturday Sept. 29 at 1:45 p.m.
Harley “combines wry observation with well-crafted folk, pop, and rock music to tell tales that tickle the funny bone and tease the brain.” Bill Harley’s joy and humor is evident in his songs such as “Barbie’s Head Is Missing,” chronicling a brother’s torture of his sister’s dolls, and “You Save My Life,” about the best kind of best friend. They contain the laugh-out-loud humor school-age kids crave. The music shifts from folk to blues to rock to a reggae/Caribbean sound.
The concert at the Great Chocolate Train Wreck Festival running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. is part of a lineup that includes Bill Staines and Tracy Grammer as well as many fun things for kids and families on the Hamilton village green. The rain location is the Hamilton Central School.
