Madison County Office for the Aging
(Canastota, NY – Oct. 2012) The Madison County Health Department and Madison County Office for the Aging, Inc. are sponsoring a free nutrition education program for Madison County residents with Type 2 diabetes.
The six-session series, “Eating Well with Diabetes,” will be held at Madison County Office for the Aging in Canastota on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Oct. 9 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and will continue through Oct. 25.
Dina Lawson, Registered Dietician with Madison County Office for the Aging, will cover serving sizes, food label reading, menu planning, carbohydrate counting, and healthy cooking.
This is a free program for people with Type 2 diabetes, so grab a family member or friend and join us for a fun learning experience.
