(Bouckville, NY – Oct. 2012) When witches go riding and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, ‘tis near Halloween!
Join us Saturday, Oct. 13, from 5 to 9 p.m. for the Halloween Happenin’ behind the Canal Museum Cottage on the corner of Route 20 and Canal Road in Bouckville. There will be a Halloween costume contest, a scary movie for kids in the museum basement, fun games, prizes, free cider, doughnuts and more.
To celebrate All Hallows Eve, there will be a Haunted Canal Walk on the towpath from 7 to 9 p.m. starting at the stairway on the right past the Canal Museum and the Bouckville Mill. It will be a frightful night, but come if you dare!
Admission is free to both events, but donations are welcome. The rain date will be Saturday, Oct. 20 – same times, same places.
