(Morrisville, NY – Oct. 2012) Join us for our annual Halloween Party this Friday, Oct. 26, at 6:30 p.m. Wear your costumes and join us for a spooky celebration. We will not only announce the winner of the pumpkin coloring contest, but play fun games and make cool crafts, too.

Come learn Tai Chi Chuan with Morrisville State College Professor William S. Snyder Monday, Oct. 29, at 6:30 p.m. He will be doing this class for free every Monday so teens and adults; this is your chance to learn this and have fun. If you cannot make that day, he will be here again Monday, Nov. 5.

Kiddies Korner will meet again Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 9:30 a.m., to celebrate Halloween. Bring your toddler or preschool child in for stories and more. If you can’t make that day, join us Nov. 6 to hear stories about drums and make our very own.

Join us as we celebrate National Author’s Day Friday, Nov. 2, at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy some snacks as we write our own group story.

Saturday, Nov. 3, at 1 p.m., our writer’s group will meet again. Get your creative juices flowing in this fun group. Call Josie Howlett at 315.893.7032 or Cathy Nagle at 315.527.1627 for more information. If you can’t make that day, join them Nov. 17.

Our next book talk will be Friday, Nov. 9, at 12:15 p.m. The book being discussed this month is Susan Vreeland’s Clara & Mr. Tiffany. Bring your lunch and join in the discussion. Copies can be picked up now.

The Library will be closed Monday, Nov. 12, to observe Veteran’s Day. We will reopen Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Michelle Rounds is library manager for the Morrisville Public Library. The library is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
