(Hamilton, NY – Oct. 2012) The Hamilton Public Library’s story time will have a special non-scary Halloween theme Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 10:30 a.m. Children and care-givers are welcome to come in costume.
After a few stories, songs and finger plays, all participants are invited to go trick or treating at the Adult Day Care Center, where their clients will be entertaining our little ones between 11 and 11:45 a.m. that day. The center is just across the driveway from the Community Memorial Hospital.
Look for Emily, the library’s story time bear, at the entrance.
Feeling an autumn chill in the air? Come warm up with some hearty recipes, a cozy quilt or craft. Books with these themes are currently on display in the adult fiction section, as you enter the fireplace room. There is a fall-themed book display in the children’s fiction section, as well.
