(Hamilton, NY – Nov. 2012) Hamilton Theater’s 2012-13 season of Grand Operas in Cinema kicks off Sunday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m. with a dazzling presentation of Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, performed at the Royal Opera House in London.
Presented in stunning high definition digital image and surround sound, the season features seven operas from Europe’s greatest opera houses. Tickets are $20 for the individual operas.
This year’s opera season is sponsored by Hamilton Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine.

Guests are invited to enjoy refreshments in the theater at intermissions, hosted by the Colgate Inn.
The full schedule includes Le Nozze di Figaro performed at the Royal Opera House, London (Nov.18), La Cenerentola (Dec. 16), La Boheme from London’s Royal Opera House (Jan. 27), Carmen from London’s Royal Opera House (Feb. 24), Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci performed at Milan’s Teatro alla Scala (Mar. 24), Eugene Onegin from London’s Royal Opera House (Apr. 21) and Nabucco and from London’s Royal Opera House (May 12).
All presentations are Sundays at 1 p.m.
