(Chittenango, NY – Nov. 2012) The Chittenango, North Chittenango and Bridgeport Volunteer firefighters teamed up with Madison County Habitat for Humanity. The firefighters have been doing smoke drills since October in a house owned by Habitat for Humanity in the village of Chittenango.

Since the house was scheduled to be demolished last week, it provided the opportunity for the firefighters to do more extensive drills Sunday, Nov. 11.

Madison County Habitat for Humanity has plans to clear the lot in hopes of building a house or two starting in the spring – stay tuned for details.

Donations will be graciously accepted. Help end sub-standard housing: volunteer or make a donation to Madison County Habitat For Humanity.
