(Bridgeport, NY – Dec. 2012) The Bridgeport Branch of the Sullivan Free Library recently hosted a gingerbread house decoration program Dec. 1. Charmaine Fish presented the program and was welcomed by nearly 30 participants who eagerly decorated their own individual gingerbread houses.

Fish demonstrated different methods and techniques for decorating and encouraged the students to design the houses to their own personal preferences. Each child had his or her own house to decorate and was given a large variety of candy to use in making roofs, windows, doors, trees and whatever else they wanted to add.

The finished houses were awesome, and everyone was amazed with their projects. Everyone had a great time! A very special thank you Charmaine for her generosity in donating all the gingerbread houses, decorating supplies and time in making this program a huge success.
