Hamilton Public Library News

(Hamilton, NY – Dec. 2012) Our Wish Tree will continue to be on display through the end of the month. There are book and magazine titles, as well as, program materials for children and teens that may be purchased for our library collection. Each book purchased through Wish Tree donations will have a special bookplate and donors have the first-read option. This is a fine opportunity for you to honor someone special, while supporting the library.
We will be adjusting our hours of operation for the holidays. The library will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25. We will also be closing early at 4 p.m. on Dec. 31and closed all day on Tuesday, Jan. 1.
Story time will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 8. Help us kick off a new year full of stories, songs, and fun with friends. A reminder that our story time is held every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., unless the library closed for a holiday or emergency. This special time for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers is held in the children’s story room, and led by library director, Hilary Virgil. At the same time, story time for preschoolers is held in the Community Room, and led by our guest storytellers.
Additional information about library resources, programs and policies, as well as, access to our online services is available through the library website www.midyorklib.org/wp/hamilton/.
